Frequently asked questions

Who is Steady for?

We specialize in helping people with diabetes that are using insulin to manage their blood sugar. We accept people regardless of type of diabetes and use our innovative care model to personalize a program for each and every member.

What does Steady cost?

Currently, we are an out-of-network provider. We plan to be in-network with several large insurance companies later this year, which will make our office visits the same as seeing your regular endocrinologist. Our office visits with our clinical team as out-of-network are $300, but we will submit claims directly to your health insurance company to ensure you get reimbursed as much as possible. To get access to our platform and tools we charge a subscription fee of $59 per month.

Does Steady replace my current endocrinologist?

Yes, we’re a full service clinic helping you with labs, prescriptions, office visits, and everything else you need to manage your diabetes.

What is a Continuous Glucose Monitor?

Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) systems are devices that are applied to the skin and measure glucose levels continuously throughout the day and night. CGMs provide real-time blood sugar data and trends to allow the user to make more informed decisions about blood sugar management.

Which CGM does Steady work with?

We recommend the Dexcom CGM as it works best with our own systems, but we can work with any CGM on the US market today.

Will you help me get a CGM?

Yes, we will help you with a prescription and everything else you need to get a CGM directly from the manufacturer.

Where is your clinic located?

100 Bush St, Suite 1600, San Francisco, CA 94104

What are your hours?

9am to 5pm, Monday through Friday

Where can I download the Steady app?

You can search for Steady Health in the Apple App Store or on Google Play. Or, go back to our landing page, click “Join now“ and we can send a link to your phone.
