We have some exciting news — Steady is joining Carbon Health!
If you are not already familiar with Carbon, they are a modern healthcare company operating both urgent and primary care clinics in 13 states. We’re thrilled about this merger as it enables us to expand Steady across the US and reach even more people.
But most importantly, while this is a big transition for us as a company, we want you to know that your care with us will remain consistent and we will continue to be here to partner with you in your diabetes care. As of now there are no changes planned to our service or pricing.
We know you’ll have questions about how this will impact your care, so please read through our FAQs below and don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.

No, we’re not going anywhere! We will continue to be here to support you with your diabetes care.
Yes! Your care team will remain the same and you will still have access to all of our wonderful clinicians and educators.
We believe in a team-based approach to healthcare and working alongside the primary care providers at Carbon Health will improve the quality of care we can offer and allow us to serve more people across the country. You can read the full announcement here.
Since we will be part of Carbon Health, you will see Carbon Health Medical Group information on your EOB (Explanation of Benefits) after visits and on invoices for payments. You will not need to establish care with any other Carbon Health providers to continue working with Steady. If you are looking for a new primary care provider, we encourage you to learn more about Carbon’s Primary Care Services.
At this time there will be no change to the membership fee. We hope to be able to reduce our membership fee over time.
Yes. Please continue to use the Steady app as you always have to message with your care team, log events, schedule appointments, and update your personal information.
Continue to message us in the Steady app. Our team will help direct your question to the right person to make sure you get the answer or help you need.
You can continue to schedule video appointments with your endocrinologist and diabetes educator through our Steady app as you have done previously. Visits with your endocrinologist will continue to be submitted through your insurance (if applicable). We are not currently charging for appointments with our diabetes educators.
No, we are remaining Steady Health for now, but functioning under the umbrella of Carbon Health.
Currently we are only accepting members in California and Washington, but hope to expand our service areas soon. Not a current member?
